Checking a Doremi (Dolby) IMS1000 or IMS2000 or an NEC NP-90MS01 or NP-90MS02 security certificate expiration date
The original security certificate expiration date for Doremi (Dolby) IMS1000, IMS2000, or an NEC NP-90MS01 or NP-90MS02 server was set to expire on November 30, 2025. Once expired, the server will no longer be able to play secure content. Dolby issued a technical bulletin in 2023 advising owners of this matter, along with another issue that prevented the servers from recognizing dates on or after January 1, 2024. Most users updated their security certificates at the same time that they updated the software to recognize dates after 2023. These updates were outlined in the Dolby bulletin linked below:
It is very easy to confirm that your server has an updated security certificate. To check your server's certificate expiration date, use the procedure listed below:
1. From the home screen, select MONITORING->DIAGNOSTICS->MEDIA BLOCK
2. Your certificate expiration will appear on the top right side of the page.
