Creating cues for a JSD60/JSD100 in a Barco ICMP
Cues for the Barco server are created through the Barco Communicator, not the web GUI. To get to the server set-up, use the following:
- connect the communicator using the projector's IP, not the server's IP.
- Upgrade the login from DEFAULT (user) to SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
- Under the MEDIA SERVER tab, go to AUTOMATION
- In the automation box at the top, create the device under DEVICES.
The USL JSD60/100 products use a TCP connection on port 10001. Save the device. - On the AUTOMATION tab click GROUPS and add a group called AUDIO
- On the AUTOMATION tab click CUES
- Click the ADD button at the bottom of the window. This will pop up the ADD CUE window. Name the cue, select an icon from the drop down menu and under GROUPS select AUDIO
- With the newly created cue selected, click on the ADD button on the right side of the window
- Select the audio device
- Set the COMMAND to SEND TEXT using the drop down
- Enter the text in the popup block next to the TEXT line. Note that the syntax of the command is different from the USL manual in that the tab command is sent in the hex code of 09 instead of \t and that the carriage return is expressed as 0d instead of \r
- Create additional cues as needed.
