Darco/Odyssey Products Model IN-8X2RJ-DCP100 Digital Audio Input Adapter board for the DCP100 processor
Description:
The IN-8X2RJ-DCP100 board offers two RJ connectors for the dual- DB25 input connectors on
the QSC DCP 100 processor.
The input connector on this board is pin-compatible with modern Integrated Media Blocks that use
dual RJ connectors for 16-channels AES digital audio (such as the Doremi IMB, GDC SX2000
with IMB, and the Christie Digital IMB).
Channels 1-through 8 are routed from the right-hand input RJ connector to the DCP 100 “Digital
Input (AES3 Pairs 1-4)” input connector.
Channels 9-16 are routed from the left-hand input RJ connector to the DCP 100 “Digital HI/VI
Input (AES3 Pair 8)” input connector. NOTE: Only Pair 8 is active on this DB25 connector of the
DCP 100.
Installation:
Plug the male DB25 connectors on the back of the board to the digital input connectors of the
DCP 100. Gently tighten the four d-sub lockdown screws with a thin, slotted screwdriver.
Plug CAT6 (or CAT5e) Ethernet cables into the appropriate input RJ connectors. Make sure that
you press firmly, until a click is heard.
