Dolby/Doremi Server Date reset to 1900's
There is a known bug in the Security Manager software of certain Doremi/Dolby server models. This bug affects DCP-2000, ShowVault, IMS1000 and IMS2000 servers and some of their variants. Dolby refers to this bug as the Y2K24 bug as what it does is reset the clock in the server's operating system back to the earliest day the system recognizes which is in 1908.
The simple fix for this problem is to update the Security Manager software in the server to the most current build. This corrects the clock vulnerability and should return the server to normal operation.
The table below illustrates the minimum software update to the Security Manager to resolve this issue. Later updates will also work. Please note, when updating the Security Manager, the other software/firmware in the system should also be brought current.
