GDC TMS not transferring content or schedules - not allowing remote content deletion (on or after 12/13/24) - GDC updated

An issue with the TMS software was recently identified that will cause transfers to hang at the queuing stage.  In order to resolve, the TMS software must be updated to version 4.3.14721. The installer for this version can be accessed from the TMS menu bar by going to: Helpà Check For Updates; which will prompt the TMS to download the new version.

A direct link to the new TMS software below can also be used if needed.

  • Remove any transfers that are stalled at the queuing stage
  • Close the TMS software
  • Check the anti-virus history in Windows Defender (or any 3rd party security software in use) for any TMS files or directories that have been flagged, and restore/allow them
  • Add exclusions for the below the below locations in Windows Defender (or any 3rd party security software in use)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Postgres

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\TMS

C:\Program Files (x86)\GDC\TMS

C:\Program Files (x86)\PostgreSQL\8.3\bin
