Serie 2 projector will now be provided with Barco ICP-D instead of TI ICP
Barco supplies series 2 projectors with "Integrated Cinema Processor" (ICP) or "Integrated Cinema Media Processor" (ICMP/ICMP-X).
End of January (January 29th 2021), Barco definitively stop to provide Series 2 projectors with TI ICP. It will be replaced by Barco ICP-D (Integrated Cinema Processor - Direct).
Information about the impacts will be present in documentation support (My.barco, various Manuals…), and we offer here an high-level overview concerning this change and some Basic information about Barco ICP-D.
Integrated Cinema Processor are located in the card cage. TI ICP:

ICP-D is including 2 HDMI 2.0 connectors on the front panel:

Procedures for replacing TI ICP with an ICP-D, or to install from scratch a new ICP-D, are described in ICP_D installation Manual (R5912083).
The version of the software packages indicated in the following table are the minimum required version. Always refer to the product release notes to be sure to install the correct version.

(*) ICMP clone package are require during installation to replace DVI macros/input files by HDMI ones. Ensure to use the appropriate clone package and corresponding projector software package.
On Series 2 projectors, no license is needed in order to use ICP-D together with an third party IMB. Supported IMBs from ICP-D software version 1.2.0.5 onwards:
